If there is no vista compatible driver for your laptop; forget the Printer! In that case, network the 2 computers, transfer what you want to print to XP; Permissions/Share info is there as well. If using Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro IS, make sure file and printer sharing is enabled in THEIR firewall.

This leaves an icon for the Vista C drive on the network locations screen, but clicking on the icon yields the same result - no access. Please send suggestions to fix this.
